Welcome!

It wasn't enough that I spend a lot of my time reading about, cooking, eating and talking about food--but I had to blog about it as well. I am admittedly food-obsessed! I love food, especially creating new recipes and learning new techniques. This blog also comes in handy for remembering the names of great restaurants I've found on my travels. You can also find many of my recipes on the Touring & Tasting website. I work for the Santa Barbara based wine club and national magazine as their Food Editor. Wine Pairing For Vegetarian Recipes

I gave up eating meat (but not seafood) a few years ago for two reasons: compassion for our warm-blooded friends and avoidance of saturated fats. But, I still cook meat for my carnivorous family and friends who rate my recipes and are glad I'm not on a soapbox. There are some sites that offer vegetarian recipes with wine pairing, like Taste Wine and Enjoy! and easyfood&wine.
